A Proven Track Record
NBA, through another competitive process, was awarded an EPA K6 grant in 2008, to develop a new workshop to help both private- and public-sector stakeholders build green projects on brownfield sites.

This workshop will provide private- and public-sector professionals with the tools and information they need to make better green policy/project decisions. The day-long, comprehensive training will be held in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York City, San Francisco and Seattle between October 2009 and September 2010 (scroll down to see the workshop schedule). Workshops will be held in close proximity to public transportation to encourage participants to reduce their carbon footprint.

You will learn
This is an action-packed day that allows members of both the public and private sectors to network with peers, learn the state of the sustainable development practices, and participate in a role-playing exercise using the Total Cost of Ownership model for a redevelopment opportunity.

This fee includes admission for the full day, course material, continental breakfast and box lunch, and post-course access to the NBA web site with references and government funding sources.
A limited number of scholarships are available to employees who work state agencies , municipalities, non-profits and academic institutions. Proof of status is required.
