The NBA is an issue-oriented, bottom-up organization that is driven by its chapters. Through a network of strong chapters, we are able to provide value to our members by focusing on local issues.
Purpose of the Chapters
NBA membership opens doors to both the international organization and a local chapter. The purpose of the chapters is to:
- Create a local forum where members can meet and exchange ideas
- Provide input for legislative, policy, incentive, technology and best practice recommendations
- Host events that facilitate brownfield transactions and generate opportunities for our members
- Bridge the public-private sector communication gap
- Provide a trusted source for credible brownfield information
Establish a Chapter
To establish a strong Chapter a dedicated volunteer Executive Team is required. The strength of the NBA is our diversity and we suggest that each Executive Team have a blend of public and private sector individuals and geographic diversity appropriately weighted to represent the cities within the state where brownfield redevelopment is a priority. The NBA Executive Director will appoint industry leaders and market makers to serve on the inaugural Executive Team. For more information on how you can get involved please contact Stephanie at NBA Headquarters at (773) 714-0407 x124 or stephanies@brownfieldassociation.org
Sponsorship Opportunities
Because the NBA attracts key decision-makers from all sectors of the brownfield market, we present excellent opportunities for marketing your company.
