Can fill out a DEC Proposed Brownfield Site Form and submit to DEC via email, US. Mail or facsimile

Site ID and location methods:

Able to search on site name, record key number, status (open, closed, no further action), street address, city, zip code, or borough

Definition:

Brownfield properties are defined by U.S Environmental Protection Agency as "real property, the expansion, redevelopment, or reuse of which may be complicated by the presence or potential presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant, or contamination."
